IMPORTANT NOTICE & COURSE EXPECTATIONS (Applies to All Golfers, Guests, Ride-Alongs & Non-Golfers) Hickory Grove Golf & Country Club is a public golf course. The following expectations apply to all individuals on club property to ensure fairness, safety, and compliance with state law, and to maintain a respectful and enjoyable experience for all golfers.
Check-In & Course Access All golfers must check in at the clubhouse prior to play Tee times may be made in person, by phone, or online Play is not permitted when the course is closed or not open for business unless authorized by management
Ride-Along (Strictly Enforced) must pay cart fee: A ride-along is any individual riding in a golf cart who has not paid to play golf. Ride-alongs are permitted only as passengers Ride-alongs may not play any holes, hit golf balls, chip, putt, or otherwise participate in play Ride-alongs must remain seated in the golf cart at all times If a ride-along is observed playing any portion of the course, they will be required to pay for their round upon returning to the clubhouse This applies to all carts, including privately owned carts
Raincheck policy: No refunds will be given if the golfer(s) start their round while it is raining. Rainchecks will be issued for the holes not completed due to inclement weather in club credit. If a golfer sees lightning, they are advised to evacuate the course. We do sound a horn for lightning in the area. Play at your own risk.
Alcohol, absolutely no carry-in or carry-on beverages or coolers are permitted, in accordance with Wisconsin liquor licensing laws (WI Statute 125.32(6)). This is state law, not a club rule. Hickory Grove Golf & Country Club is legally responsible for compliance under Wisconsin law and the Wisconsin Tavern League. Violations may result in: Immediate removal from the golf course Suspension of playing privileges Law enforcement involvement if necessary If the clubhouse does not carry your beverage of choice, please notify staff. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests within licensing guidelines.
Golf Cart Privileges Golf cart operators must be 16 years of age or older No more than two (2) riders per golf cart Riders must remain seated at all times Riding on the back, top, or anywhere other than designated seats is prohibited Carts must remain on designated paths Follow all posted signage Carts must stay at least 30 feet from all greens The 90-degree cart rule must be observed when in effect
